To best sell their quality floor coverings, Flock & Selvedge turned to Magiclamp Network's web design, and their website was launched on October 23, 2008. First of all, Magiclamp Networks implemented the Magic Shopping System to improve Flock & Selvedge's online shopping experience. The Magic Shopping System includes a user-friendly web catalog, shopping cart, and checkout system. As with all Magiclamp web applications, the Magic Shopping System has an easy-to-use web administration site that allows Flock & Selvedge to add new products, and to update pricing, descriptions, and product details on all of their rugs. Magiclamp implemented an advanced classification system for the products, so customers can browse rugs by Brand, Collection, Designer, Color and Style.
Flock & Selvedge features a fully integrated Content Management System, which allows for easy image upload and fast website updates. The online product gallery includes large, clear images of the rugs, which can be easily updated through the site administration website. A zoom tool allows the site's visitors to zoom in on photos for a detailed look of the rugs' weave detail.
